Due to a recent escalation in cyberattacks on the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (“CM/ECF”) system, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky has today entered General Order 25-11 which implements new procedures governing the access, service, and management of sealed documents in CM/ECF.
Procedures for filing sealed documents in CM/ECF will remain unchanged. Consistent with current practices, the Court will continue to serve sealed orders and court notices by U.S. Mail and parties will continue to serve sealed documents by other appropriate means as provided by the Federal Rules of Procedure.
