Mandatory Electronic Case Filing and Noticing

The CM/ECF filing system for the Western District of Kentucky will be unavailable from 7:00pm, Friday May 9, 2008 until 8:00am, Monday May 12, 2008, for a system upgrade to Version 3.2.1.

The new version adds two major features:

  • It provides the capability for the creation of an appendix for cases on appeal.
  • It provides for transcripts to be available on PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) 90 days after being filed, excluding extensions.

Please review the General Order and Notice Regarding Electronic Availability of Official Court Transcripts and the Redaction Responsibility of Counsel and Parties. This policy, as mandated by the Judicial Conference of the United States, goes into effect May 15, 2008.
